After Jesus was raised to life again on the third day, He told His disciples that He would send the Holy Spirit to guide and teach them [John 14:26]. God’s Spirit is referred to as a ComforterCounselor, and Helper. As God’s children who are redeemed through Jesus Christ, we also have the Holy Spirit living inside of us [1 Corinthians 6:19]. The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of truth [John 15:26], and He works in us and helps us to become new in Christ [Titus 3:5-6].
